Additions to Strategic Plan
   National News Service
For national relevancy and a truly nation-wide audience, Pacifica needs a national news service -- again. What potential listeners cannot find on the radio dial (and yes, that is where the bulk of listeners remain today!) is a progressive news, information and commentary service to serve as the backbone of Pacifica's national presence. Such a service needs at a minimum to be Monday thru Friday and in both morning and afternoon Drive Time.  Ideally (but most unlikely, alas) such a service should be started in some form leading up to the 2016 national elections.  I believe a lot of people are hungry for news and information from a respected progressive source--Pacifica should be that source. John Proffitt
