INTRODUCTION
On March 21, 2021 the KPFK Local Station Board (LSB) authorized two
simultaneous email elections to populate a new General Manager Search Committee. The committee was to be comprised of
seven (7) listener members and two (2) staff members, with all LSB members authorized to make selections in both
contests.
ELECTORS
All twenty-four current KPFK Delegates were sent ballots by the Remote Teller.
Twenty-one ballots were returned by the close of polls.
BALLOT PROBLEMS
As usual, one or two ballots
were sent to the tellers separately. In such cases, the tellers could not be sure that each had received the same
document, so those voters were prompted to resubmit. Thirteen voters returned the ballot forms in MSWord format. Three
voters returned the ballot in PDF format. One voter returned the ballot in JPG image format. Four voters embedded their
ballots in the body of an email message.
WRITE-INS, TIES, AND INCOMPLETE TALLIES
No write-in votes
were attempted. There were multiple ties. All tallies were completed.
PUBLIC TALLY
Due to the novel
coronavirus pandemic, the public tally was held via Zoom teleconference. Ties were resolved via coin
tosses.
BALLOT IDENTIFIERS
Each voter selected a code for their ballot. The user codes are included
[bracketed] in the ChoicePlus Pro input files for each election.

election. Voters can confirm that the candidate rankings on their ballots match those in the input files in reference
